Terms of Service

These terms govern use of KaniPOS cloud POS and related services at kanipos.com and merchant subdomains. By creating a tenant or using a demo, you agree to these terms.

1. Service

KaniPOS provides multi-tenant shop and restaurant billing software including GST invoicing, PayNow QR display, reports, and optional online storefront. Features depend on your plan (Starter / PRO / Enterprise).

2. Merchant responsibilities

• Provide accurate UEN/GST registration details on tax invoices.
• Comply with IRAS GST rules and PDPA when collecting customer data.
• Keep login credentials confidential; you are responsible for staff actions on your tenant.
• Do not upload malware, unlawful content, or attempt to access other tenants' data.

3. Fees & billing

Subscription fees are shown on pricing. Plans renew monthly or annually unless cancelled. Enterprise terms are agreed in writing.

4. Availability & support

We target high availability on our VPS but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows may be announced. Support via WhatsApp and email during business hours (SGT).

5. Data & privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data, including EU hosting disclosure and DPO contact.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, Kanipos pte ltd is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or GST filing penalties arising from merchant misconfiguration. Maximum liability is limited to fees paid in the prior 3 months.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate with notice. On termination we provide a data export window; thereafter data may be deleted per our retention policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
